Basic Discords.. Well discords overall.

I don't know why I find discords so cool, but I suppose it could be akin to learning the rules so I can break them later.

Dig this assignment I did in class:Now.. are these found in nature? Blue and Green are most certainly, red and purple can be found in sunsets and yellow and orange is abundant in autumn.

But look on the right of the discords, you're not going to find those colours together at all. Now I've looked but I'd love to be corrected on things so do chime in if I'm wrong.

The Lack of Colour

I travel on the skytrain and bus and always come away amazed at the pure lack of colour. It's black this and black with a white shirt thrown in there. If it weren't for the odd pair of jeans I'd wonder if I were walking around in a black and white film.

So I looked around on the internet to see what I'd find.

I seem to notice blackspace being used like it's whitespace? Or is everything just becoming really shrouded.

Warm lights

I've been thinking lately about how light reflects off surfaces. The warm lights among these 'tanks' in this photo make the tanks seem outstandingly yellow when they aren't. Interestingly enough, my mind knows this... I assume if we took out the source of light the tanks would seem perfectly yellow. (Then again it would be pitch black with 0 light)...
